    Can't I just ask my lawyer about this?

    Of course! But make sure you are asking the right lawyer, the right questions. For example, most attorneys can advise in their chosen field and jurisdiction, so if your go-to legal expert is in Kansas, she won't be able to help you with your team in Illinois as thoroughly as HR experts. 

    What even is HR? 

    Ahh the age old question.  HR touches legal and finance in a very obvious way, but HR is the art of organizational growth through proper tactical use of people in business. We've got a podcast all about it (listen here!). Org charts, profit margins, job descriptions, handbooks... that's us! 

    Should my accountant know these answers? 

    Our money professional friends will be able to help you set up tax information for your team members, but they don't usually want to take on the HR burden (nor are they trained to).  

    Will there be opportunity to ask questions about the workshop?
